About Us

Welcome to Sarmiere Educational Consulting!  My name is Drew Sarmiere and I am the founder and owner of Sarmiere EC.  

I am a former licensed secondary school teacher turned educational psychologist with over 20 years of experience.  What started off as an amazing experience teaching sciences in the classroom has evolved into a private endeavor consulting with families to ensure the best possible outcomes (academic and personal)  for their children. In addition to my Masters in Educational Psychology, I am also a Master Certified Life Coach and a Parenting Coach with significant experience working with students with learning differences as well as social/emotional struggles.  

Over the years I have also become expert at SAT/ACT test prep instruction (99th percentile test taker) and have written my own proprietary test prep materials which my staff and I utilize.  Furthermore, I have guided countless students and families through the college admissions process.
